fashion inspired, custom t-shirts.
Inventory is like produce. Move it FAST or it goes stale! All your profit is sitting in a box if you have unsold t-shirts remaining after the event is over. T-shirts make you money only if they sell. You risk t-shirts not selling if you buy inventory based solely on cost alone. You need to think of how you're going to get a shirt into the 'favorite in the closet category'.
You are buying t-shirts for other people to wear. We are thinking of 'those people' while we develop your t-shirt. You have a tight budget, but we also know you need to create something that will generate buzz.
You and AMB3R are working together to build a t-shirt. Chances are good that you're making t-shirts to raise awareness (or money) for a cause or event.
Your Goals are to make a shirt:
• As cheap as possible
• Accurate
• and On time.
Your customer is not typically motivated to buy a t-shirt simply to help you raise money or awareness. The real reason your customer buys your t-shirt is because he’ll look good, feel good, and get compliments wearing it.
How can brands like Abercrombie & Fitch, Diesel Jeans, Quiksilver, and Affliction charge $24 - $59 for a t-shirt? It's because they know what their customers want; a socially acceptable shirt that looks good, feels good, and makes the wearer look good. People gladly pay top dollar for great t-shirts! We define two types of t-shirts to help you describe what you're looking for.
Clothing Brand T-shirts feel good, fit great, and has a perfect combination of color and design style. Thought and attention have been made on the part of the brand to produce a t-shirt to retail for $24 - $59. In order to have someone wear a t-shirt in a social setting it must achieve a higher standard.
Also known as "gym" or "low end" t-shirts. Most of the time these t-shirts are made to be given out for free, and worn once or twice. This is the type that is typically boxy with standard plastisol ink. The objective in making a shirt like this is "Cheapest t-shirt possible." It might pose a challenge for inventory to move quickly at full retail price.
Each t-shirt has project and fashion parameters. When you provide the project parameters then it allows AMB3R to suggest fashion details that enhance the creative look and feel of your t-shirt.
Project Parameters are the vital, non-creative aspects of the t-shirt project. They determine what is possible for the creative aspects of your t-shirt.
The four project parameters are;
• Theme message - The subject of the t-shirt. (cause name, event mascot, etc.)
• In hand date - Each Design Kit and Fashion Kit have different turn times. Knowing in hand date prevents us from missing it!
• Quantity - Fashion Kits have minimum order quantities. Also, the more you purchase, the cheaper the piece cost becomes.
• Budget - The budget determines how art, product, and process can best be combined.
The Fashion Parameters of your t-shirt will be developed on top of your Project Parameters.
Fashion Parameters include ;
• T-shirt specifics - fabric, color, cut, style
• Ink options - options include Plastisol, Discharge, Process, Puff, or Crackle
• Art - Style, location, colors, placement.
